Full-Time Temporary Position

St Mary’s is a small co-educational school located in the picturesque location of Northampton. It has a long history celebrating 150 years in 2018. The community of St Mary’s has been recognised over the last two years through the CEWA QCE awards for their exceptional dedication to the school and its students.

The Year 1.2 classroom in 2022 will consist of between 17-20 children, the school has undergone a technology upgrade in recent years and now consists of a 1:1 iPad program from Year 1-6, with electronic whiteboard or TV’s in each class. During 2021 a project is currently being completed to upgrade the classroom furniture to reflect a 21^st century environment, with flexible learning spaces.

The school is well supported, recently completing a Literacy and Numeracy whole school plan, with the addition of Mini-Lit intervention in Year 1 and 2 and a specialist teacher assisting staff to help with specific intervention strategies, from K-6.

The school has specialist subjects in LOTE, Physical Education, Health and Science.
