The visit of the Governor of Western Australia to Northampton was a special moment for some of our St Mary’s students, one they will be talking about for a long time. It was more than just a formal visit; it felt personal, engaging, and inspiring for our young students, who had the rare opportunity to hear directly from someone in such a unique role.

Time certainly does fly when you’re having fun! Earlier in the middle of last term, the Year 5/6 class headed off for their annual Leadership Day, and it feels like just yesterday. The day was packed with valuable lessons, team-building activities, inspiring talks, and plenty of brainstorming about what makes a great leader.
