Technologies

Technologies is taught explicitly across all year levels at St Mary’s School. Our school has recently been part of the ACARA DTiF project, designed to increase the efficacy and understanding of our teachers in integrating technologies. The technologies curriculum is broken down into two sub strands: Design and Digital Technologies. St Mary’s School prides itself on being a regional leader in the integration of technology in the curriculum.

We currently utilise interactive whiteboards in all classes, along with iPad banks which service all year levels. We also have a dedicated space for the use of laptop computers in the middle and upper primary year levels.

Robotics and coding are linked into our teacher’s programs across all year levels in accordance with Western Australian Curriculum guidelines.
